This year's theme is "Together We Shine" which is derived from how we see hope after several challenging years. We have all faced difficulties created by the pandemic, social injustice and inequity, economic stress, and challenges to mental and physical health. Reconnecting with others and reestablishing the sense of being valued parts of a greater whole empowers students and adults to find purpose and possibility. #schoolpsychologistweek

MEET THE YDO
Officer Gonzales has a diverse role in the school and community. He will assist the school administration in maintaining a safe and secure environment. YDOs support school wide efforts to educate students on the consequences of unacceptable behavior, both in the school and in the community. In addition, the YDO works to educate students in crime prevention and personal safety.
We are proud to have Officer Gonzales as part of the LUESD Family!
“I chose to work with the youth because they are the future of our community. If I can teach work ethic, respect, and responsibility, then the youth can do anything they put their minds to.
I am excited to work as the YDO at LUESD because everyday I get to interact with the youth and change one life at a time. I’m excited to spread positivity and help prepare the youth as they become young adults.” - Officer Gonzalez
As October comes to an end, we wanted to take a moment to thank the leaders of our schools for National Principals Month. The positive impact that they have on all of our students is undeniable. We are grateful for each one of them and thank them for all they do! #LUESDStrong #LUESDAdminRocks #EACHONE
