Good luck to our Spelling Bee students, Seth Owens and Ethan Escobedo, as they represent Liberty Middle School at the Kings County Spelling Bee tomorrow.

Congratulations to Coach Hernandez and our A Boys Basketball. Our Patriots went undefeated this season 15-0 and took 1st place at the SAL tournament today. We are so proud of their team work.

Congrats to the Liberty Winter Guard and Percussion as they both took 1st place this last Saturday at their competition at Sierra Pacific High School. If you want to see them perform locally, come see them at the Music Pancake Breakfast on February 29th!


As we close on Basketball season today, we are gearing up for Baseball and Softball season coming soon. Tryouts are March 3rd-5th, after school, at the fields behind "D" building.
Students MUST have a signed permission slip in order to tryout. Forms available in the office and Media Center.
Please note that we are looking for two responsible student statisticians for both softball and baseball. Interested students should to speak to coach the first day of tryouts.


Just a reminder that tomorrow, Feb 20 is our Valentine's Dance.
Time: 3:30pm to 5pm
Location: Liberty Cafeteria
Dress code still applies.
Students that attend the dance are to stay until the end of the dance, 5pm. Any students that would like to leave before 5pm, will need to be signed out by a parent. Thank you for understanding and keeping our students safe.

We had our "Sweets with Athletes" award ceremony today with parents and guardians. Our fall sports athletes were recognized for all their hard work and determination. We are so proud to have all of them represent Liberty this year with PRIDE



Just as a reminder, students should not being any gifts, balloons, stuffed animals, etc. to school tomorrow, 2/14. Our focus is on learning at school and these items may be distracting. Thank you for your cooperation.


Just a reminder that there is No School, Monday February 17. School resumes on Tuesday, February 18. If you have not completed our district survey, please see that it is return on Tuesday. Thank you for your feedback.


Mrs Dow was honored at tonight's board meeting for being finalist in CLMS Educator of the Year. We are so proud and blessed to have her at Liberty.

In observance of Presidents Day, there will be no school on Monday, 2/17/20. Both staff and students will return Tuesday, 2/18/20.

As we gear up for the second half of the school year, these students of the month continue to show effort in their work everyday, including benchmark testing, at Liberty. Thank you to all the parents and guardians that were able to attend our student of the month celebration.



. Besides performing, our students were also able to work with jazz professors and professionals from both Fresno City College and Fresno State in a series of clinics and feedback sessions. Great job to both Liberty Jazz Band A and B!


Patriots past and present started the Winter Guard and Percussion season at the SVWAA show hosted at Lemoore High School Today. Lemoore groups took a clean sweep with all groups including Liberty Middle School Winter Guard and Percussion and Lemoore High school JV/Varsity Winter Guard and Percussion all taking first place in their respective divisions! Congrats to all these hard working students!
