Our school rally today was a blast! With a patriotic red, white, and blue theme, the school spirit was off the charts, as staff faced off against students in basketball games. The boys basketball team came from behind and took the win over the staff. From thrilling dodgeball matches to amazing band and cheer performances, there was no shortage of excitement. The students brought their A-game and showed off their spirit!

We are so proud of Jimena Gutierrez and Fernanda Gonzalez for representing Liberty at the Kings County Spelling Bee today. They worked hard, showed incredible determination, and kept their composure under the pressure. Well done, Patriots.

Kaynen Velasco earned himself a pizza lunch today. He invited his friends Roberto Marquez, Joseph Lopez, and Anthony Bishop. Kaynen consistently demonstrates hard work and a positive attitude in class. Congratulations.


Tomorrow is Lemoore High School registration! Students will have the opportunity to meet with LHS counselors to select their classes for the upcoming school year, during their regularly scheduled PE class.


The Lemoore Union Elementary School District Music Department is excited to present the Annual Pancake Breakfast on March 8th! Liberty music students should have received their tickets today. Tickets are only $5 and can be purchased from any band, choir, or guard student.
The funds raised through the breakfast will support our music programs, ensuring that students continue to have access to high quality music education. The event will also feature a special music concert, showcasing the talents of all our LUESD students, including our elementary schools.
Additionally, a silent auction will help fund Liberty ASB activities and end of the year trips, providing students with unforgettable experiences. Join us for a morning of great food, music, and community support.



Track, baseball, and softball tryouts were underway today, and we were thrilled to see such a great turnout! It's shaping up to be an exciting season ahead. Tryouts continue tomorrow. Get ready for an incredible season!

With 31 years in education and 21 years in her role, Deena is much more than just a school psychologist—she’s a mentor, a support system, and a trusted adult for countless students. Her tireless efforts to connect with students, staff, and families go beyond the school day—she’s often seen supporting after-school events and engaging with the community to build meaningful relationships. On March 4th, our 8th graders will have an exciting opportunity to visit the San Francisco Exploratorium! This hands-on science museum offers engaging exhibits that will spark curiosity and deepen their understanding of science, technology, and art. We’re looking forward to this memorable field trip and the opportunity for students to explore the world of science in such an innovative way.

The newly formed Jazz Flex class kicked off their performance season with a fantastic debut at the San Joaquin Valley Jazz Festival, held at Bullard High School, in Fresno. Their performance was a hit, showcasing their hard work and musical talent. It’s an exciting start to the year, and we can't wait to see what’s next for this talented group.

Our incredible cafeteria staff are the backbone of our school’s meal service, working tirelessly each day to sustain and support our students. With their new team shirts, they’re not just feeding our students but they’re also showing the strength of their teamwork and unity.
A special thank you goes out to Head of Nutrition, Renee Dykstra, and our Child Nutrition Cook, Ms. Ellyn Helm, for leading the way, ensuring our meals are healthy and delicious. We’re grateful for the whole team’s unwavering commitment to making every lunch a time for connection and care.


Our basketball teams played with incredible heart and showed true dedication and resilience every time they hit the basketball court. Despite facing challenges, they never gave up, always pushing forward and supporting each other. A reminder for our student athletes, as the seasons end, to turn in their jerseys as soon as possible to their coaches.
Our A Basketball Boys team will be heading to the playoffs on Tuesday, February 25th, at El Monte. Games start at 1pm. Good luck, Patriots!






This past Saturday, winter guard and winter percussion performed at their first competition of the season at the South Valley Winter Arts Association event, hosted by Lemoore High School. Percussion took third place out of six groups. They were only one point away from first place. Winter guard took second place out of nine groups.
If you’re interested in watching them, you can watch them at their next performance, which is the pancake breakfast at Liberty Middle School on March 8.

We are excited to announce that track will be offered as a sport this year at Liberty! This is a great opportunity for students to get involved, stay active, and challenge themselves.
