Our Liberty students are encouraged to wear green tomorrow, Monday, March 17, for St. Patrick's Day.

A round of applause for our incredible band students! The white band traveled to Kingsburg yesterday for the CMEA Band Festival.
With an average score of 79 and a solid 3 rating, they truly shined at the festival! Every note, every beat, showed just how much hard work and passion went into their performance.
We can't wait to see how you all continue to grow. Congratulations!

Just a reminder that there will be no school for our Liberty students tomorrow, Friday, March 14. School resumes on Monday, March 17th. Have a great weekend.

Today was our first home softball and baseball games of the season. We are so grateful we didn't get rained out. Thank you to the amazing families and friends who came out to support our teams. Here's to more exciting games ahead, and let’s keep the support going strong!

Today, our 8th Liberty students investigated how mass, ramp incline, and even the shape/design of a toy car impact motion and distance! They had to identify the dependent and independent variables of the science lab. They built ramps, tested different cars, and measured the effects of mass. It was a hands-on exploration of how all these factors work together to affect motion.

What an incredible day at the CMEA Choir Festival!
Our talented Liberty choir students traveled to Visalia First Presbyterian Church today. They sang three songs, Deo Dicamis Gratias, Clever Chameleon and Riversong. Choir received an Excellent rating. After months of hard work, practice, and dedication, they shone brightly and represented our school so well.
We are so proud of their growth and commitment to excellence.

Congratulations to Mrs. Deena Mathers, our amazing school psychologist, for being recognized as Administrator of the Year!
She was honored at the district board meeting today, and we couldn't be more proud. Mrs. Mathers is a compassionate, patient, and loving individual who makes a difference in the lives of so many students and staff. We are truly blessed to have her on our campus!

We are so proud of our Liberty students who participated in the TKMEA Honor Band last month! They were recognized at the LUESD board meeting today for their incredible talent and hard work. Congrats to these amazing musicians for this well deserved achievement!

We may be a little late for National Maintenance Worker Appreciation Day, but the appreciation for our amazing maintenance team is always on time! From fixing AC units to taking care of our grounds and sports fields, they work tirelessly to keep everything running smoothly. Their hard work behind the scenes doesn’t go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for everything they do.
Here’s to the unsung heroes who help make it all possible.

Yesterday, the Red Band performed at the CMEA Concert Band Festival at Redwood High School's LJ Williams Theater, where they were judged by top music educators, including Dr. Gary Gilroy from Fresno State. Their goal was to earn a unanimous superior rating, which requires scores of 90+ from all three judges and a superior in sight reading. The students received scores of 91, 92, and 93, plus a superior in sight reading. They were also commended for their professionalism and focus. Congratulations to the students on a job well done! You can catch them and our other LUESD bands at the pancake breakfast tomorrow!

Some of our Liberty ASB students visited Freedom Elementary to read aloud to Ms. Lopez's T-K class, and they had a wonderful time. They read stories to the younger students, sparking excitement and a love for reading. It was a heartwarming experience that not only helped build connections between the schools but also encouraged the joy of reading in the youngest learners. This was a great reminder of how reading can bring people of all ages together!
Thank you, Freedom Elementary School, for hosting us and making this special event possible.

Read Across America Week was a fun and creative celebration of reading! As part of the festivities, Mrs. Yang hosted a DIY bookmark contest where students showed off their artistic skills.
The bookmarks the students created were absolutely amazing, reflecting both their love for books and their creativity. Emerald Khaing and Melanie Valdez won a gift card to Dutch Bros for their amazing designs.

Our LUESD Pancake Breakfast is this Saturday! Our Liberty Bands have been preparing for this event all season. It's a great opportunity to hear great music and support a great cause.
Also, our Liberty Silent Auction will be taking place at the same. Come and join us and bid on donated items from our local businesses and staff, as well as two extra tickets for the Liberty Promotion Ceremony. Cash and check will be accepted. Thank you in advance for your support!

They explored the exhibits with enthusiasm, engaged in hands-on learning, and shared lots of excitement throughout the day. It was a memorable experience that not only sparked their curiosity but also showed their maturity and ability to stay positive, no matter the challenges.
