During yesterday’s Liberty home football game, one of the players, of the opposing team, had an injury. The Kings River Hardwick and Liberty staff were quick to respond, asking for a canopy and something to cool down the student. A firefighter, who came as a parent spectator, also provided much needed assistance. Both teams were kneeling at their benches, as they waited for the ambulance. Before the injured student was helped into the ambulance, both of the teams, staff, and cheerleaders surrounded the student and offered words of healing. We are so proud of the quick staff response and the sportsmanship by both sides. Way to go Patriots and Wildcats!

Thank you to Mr Bentley for playing the Taps during our moment of silence in the morning.
Our students proudly wore their red, white, and blue. They also learned about 9/11 in their history classes. We encourage parents and guardians to take some time and talk to your student about this day.
