Our Liberty students including ASB wanted to thank the Lemoore Police Department for all that they do for our Liberty Campus.
They keep us safe and they build lasting relationships with our students.

Tomorrow is tree topper day. Wear your most festive holiday hats.
This past weekend, 7 of our band students travelled to Ridgeview Middle School in Visalia to audition for the Tulare-Kings County TKMEA Honor Band. You can think of honor band as being kind of like an all star team for sports. I am happy to announce that all 7 members were selected to represent Liberty Middle School in this ensemble. Not only that, some of our students were selected as 1st chair in their instrument sections for receiving the highest score. A huge congratulations to the following students:
Evan Valdeabella: 1st chair percussion
Liz Vonder Ahe-Cossey: 2nd chair Bari sax
Breanna Hull: 3rd chair Bari sax
Leo Amador: 7th chair trombone
Zack Ortuzar: 1st chair trumpet
Aurora Morshead: 3rd chair trumpet
Sydney Bales: 3rd chair flute
Eli Cabigao: 1st chair bass clarinet
What a great start to winter spirit week at Liberty. Students looked super comfy in their pajamas but still working hard today.
Tomorrow 7th graders will be wearing green and 8th graders will be wearing red. Let's see who has the most spirit.
Just a reminder Monday 12/12 is NOT an early out day. It does start out our winter spirit week and ASB candygrams before winter break.
Congratulations to the girls soccer team, Coach Ballor, and Coach Alcala. They placed 2nd at the SAL tournament. We are so proud of their hard work and dedication. They played a great season. Go patriots!
We had a great turn out for our Basketball teams this season. Last day of tryouts are tomorrow.

Thank you to all the friends, families, and community for supporting our Liberty Marching Band and Colorguard on Saturday, at the Lemoore Christmas Parade.
Good Morning Liberty Families,
This morning, December 5th, Liberty Middle School received information of a potential threat to the campus. The Lemoore Police Department (LPD) was immediately contacted and the school was placed on lockdown. Lemoore PD responded immediately and determined that there was not a credible threat and the lockdown was lifted. The safety of our students is our utmost priority and Liberty Middle School and our Lemoore PD work together in partnership to ensure the safety of each one of our students at school.
Remember to use our parentsquare app to get the latest information. Thank you
To all Liberty Marching Band and Colorguard students.
According to the city, the Christmas Parade IS still happening tonight as of now. However, rain is in the forecast all day. Because of this, we will NOT be wearing our band uniforms!
Tonight’s dress code will be Jeans(Please No Holes), Sweaters/Jackets(Long sleeves Please), and Santa Hats. Any shoes will be fine.
Call time will still be 5:45pm at the Arbor across from Boba Island and the movie theater!
Mr Morshead will be sending another update between noon and 2pm via parent square. Please be on the look out. Thanks for your understanding and support. The kids have worked so hard and we want to try to still make tonight happen!
This is our December Newsletter.
