8th graders (April 29th - May24th) and 7th grade (May 6th - May 24th)
-Help your child maintain daily routines, such getting a good night’s sleep and being prepared for school with a backpack and charged chromebook.
-Talk about the importance of showing up to school everyday; make that the expectation.
-Try to schedule dental and medical appointments after the school day.
-Stay on top of academic progress and seek help from teachers; make sure teachers know the best way to contact you.
And remember to call the school, should your student be absent from school. We are open Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4pm. (559)924-6860. Every day counts.

Congratulations to Isabella Perez. She won our Liberty Book Fair Raffle: the newest dogman book, dogman pens, and $20 to spend at the book fair.

Our students looked great in their semi-formal looks at the Fancy Dance on Friday. Everyone had a great time. We'd like to thank our staff, students, and ASB for making this a successful event.

Thank you to Dr. Betchel and practice manager LaDawna, who visited Liberty on Friday. The students learned about becoming a vet and all the different procedures that they perform every day. Also, the students were so excited to have seen some animals up close. We are so glad our local Karing for Kreatures Veterinarian was able to stop by for our career cafe.

Thank you to Chief Love and the Lemoore High School NJROTC that visit our campus this morning. Our 8th grade students were able to learn more about the program and got to see some of the skills you learn and develop within the program. We even got to see some former Liberty students.

Salvador Gaytan earned himself another pizza lunch. He invited his friends Jayden Eakes, Brody Allen and Dante Galvan to join him. Salvador consistently shows PRIDE in his work. Congratulations

Our 8th graders had a great trip yesterday at the San Francisco Exploratorium. This was an amazing opportunity for them to learn with their friends and peers. Some of our students have never even traveled to San Francisco. Thank you to our district, staff, chaperones, and students who made this a memorable experience for all our 8th grade students.

Thank you to all the parents and guardians, who were able to join us for our Student of the Month celebration. These amazing students were selected by their advisory teachers as students who show integrity every day. We are so proud of them.

Liberty was able to host the CMEA Jazz Festival last week. We had 31 high schools and middle schools attend. Our LUESD music department and students helped make this a successful event for all attendees and our campus.
The Liberty Jazz Band also performed and received a Unanimous Superior Rating for the 3rd year in a row with scores averaging in the 90s. Congratulations!

Congratulations to our Liberty Middle School members who auditioned and were accepted into the TKMEA middle school honor jazz ensemble. They performed this last weekend in the Liberty Middle School cafeteria, along with 12 others selected from other middle schools around Tulare and Kings County.

This week was National Assistant Principals Week. We are so thankful for our two assistant principals on our Liberty Campus: Mr. Guzman and Mrs. Dow. They are invaluable members of our school, and the staff and students appreciate everything that they do. Thank you.

Students should also come for gown measurements. Gown purchases will be cash only.

Our Patriots had a great day today dressed as Soccer Moms or BBQ Dads today. We were so impressed with their creativity.
