Our Liberty Marching Band and Colorguard will be performing this Saturday, December 2nd, at the Lemoore Christmas Parade. The parade will start at 6pm in downtown Lemoore. We are always so lucky to get to perform for our supportive community. We hope to see you there.

Our basketball season is coming up.
Basketball tryouts start next week on Tuesday, December 5th, after school until approximately 4:15pm. Students will meet at the outside basketball courts.

Our first dance will be next week on Thursday, December 7th, from 3:30pm to 5pm. Students will need a signed permission slip in order to attend and will turned them in at the door. Permission slips were given to all students yesterday, during their Advisory class.

As members of the School Site Council, parents, teachers, students, and administrators meet four times per year to discuss school programs and the necessary funding sources for implementing the Single Plan for Student Achievement.

Make up picture day is next Wednesday, November 8th. This is for all staff and students that missed picture day in October.
November 8th is also Soccer team photos, afterschool. Students will need to have their uniforms that day. Picture packet information will be give prior to the 8th.
We were able to celebrate our October Students of the Month, this morning. These students are respectful to the staff and their peers on campus. We are so proud to have them represent Liberty. Thank you to the parents and guardians that were able to join us.

We ended Red Ribbon Week yesterday with Halloween Colors Day and with a few local organizations on campus: Kings United Way, Kings Partnership-Rise Above/SURG, Behavioral Health, Kings County Office of Eduacation - TUPE, LOVYES, CHC Kings County Tabacco Control Program, Westcare Adolescent Services, Champions Recovery and LOVYOU.

Our students had the day off and our Liberty staff were learning and collaborating this past Friday, October 27th. These Professional Development days throughout the year help support our staff and reinforce working together as a team for the entire year.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 31st is Halloween Colors Day (Wear Orange, Purple, or Black; No costumes and no Pjs) We will also have a Red Ribbon Fair with some local organizations on campus during lunch.
