We ended the week with a pizza celebration for our incredible Liberty staff, courtesy of our Liberty Administrative team. Every member of our staff plays a vital role in the daily success of our campus.They not only keep things running smoothly, but they help shape the lives of our students and make a lasting impact on our community.
From the classroom to the front office, from the cafeteria to campus safety, each staff member contributes to a positive, supportive environment. We are looking forward to seeing students and staff dressed in their best 80s, 90s, or 2000s outfits on Monday!

Our Liberty softball team gave it their all yesterday afternoon in a tough matchup against a strong Rafer Johnson team. Our Liberty Patriots finished 2nd overall in the SAL tournament, and we couldn’t be more proud of their hard work and determination. Special shoutout to Jazlyn Guzman for an outstanding performance with four runs, including a lead off solo home run in the first inning. Congratulations to Rafer Johnson on their Championship win.
Our Patriots had a great season, and we can’t wait to see what next year’s team brings. Good luck to our 8th graders; we know they’re going to make big impacts at the high school level and beyond.

Yesterday, our students got crafty and heartfelt, writing sweet appreciation notes to their teachers and staff during their Advisory class. Today, ASB kept the love going by creating colorful banners and thoughtful notes for everyone on campus.
And the celebration isn’t over yet! On Monday, May 12th, students are encouraged to dress up in their favorite era’s style, whether it's the rad 80s, nostalgic 90s, or iconic 2000s, to show some retro love for our amazing teachers and staff!
On Thursday, May 8th, Sheffield Ct (the road next to Liberty Middle School) will be closed for construction from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. During this time, there will be no parking or access via Sheffield Ct. Please plan to use an alternate route or location for student drop-off and pick-up. Students walking in the area should exercise caution near the construction zone.
Our Liberty softball team pulled off an incredible win in a nail biting playoff game against a tough Sutter team. Both teams showed heart, hustle, and sportsmanship.
We are so proud of our players for staying focused and fighting until the very last out. More information to come as they play for the championship on Wednesday.
Our Liberty 7th graders will be starting their CAASPP state testing tomorrow, Tuesday, May 6th. Please make sure your student has a charged chromebook for testing.

A Huge Congratulations to Mrs. Deena Mathers, our Liberty School Psychologist. Mrs. Mathers was named Administrator of the Year and was honored last night at the Excellence in Education Awards at the Fox Theater.
Mrs. Mathers is a valued staff member on campus. She is compassionate, dedicated, and patient. Her work transforms the lives of students and staff every day. As a school psychologist, she plays a critical role in supporting students’ emotional well being, promoting mental health, and ensuring that every child has the tools to thrive both academically and personally.
Her impact on our Liberty campus is immeasurable, and we are incredibly fortunate to have her as part of our school staff. Congratulations, Mrs. Mathers. Your hard work and heart have not gone unnoticed.

Congratulations to our Liberty musicians, who were selected to join the Tulare Kings County Music Educators Association (TKMEA) Honor Jazz Band. Antonio Menjivar, Rayden Alvarez, Leia Valdeabella, Myumi Peyegrin, Noellee Ann Toribio, Ariella Garza, Jolee De La Mora, and Solomon Bega performed this past Saturday, April 26th, at the TKMEA Honor Jazz Band Concert in Tulare.

Our Liberty Book Fair starts on Monday and we are so excited to kick it off. A big thank you to our Liberty artist Zack Valenzuela for creating an amazing chalk art display at the entrance to help promote the event. It looks fantastic and sets the perfect tone for a week of celebrating reading.
