At the beginning of the year, each student created a banner representing who they are including their likes, dislikes, and what makes them unique. These beautiful banners now hang proudly in our school cafeteria, reminding us every day that every student matters. We love having each of them here, because when students show up, they grow, learn, and succeed. Every day makes a difference.

Next week, Friday, September 26th, is our first rally of the school year. Our students are encouraged to wear their minion gear for our "One in a Minion" rally.

Our Liberty 7th graders had a fun and engaging lab activity today where they explored the evidence of chemical reactions. After putting on their safety goggles, students investigated two classic experiments steel wool with a battery and baking soda with vinegar
Students carefully observed each reaction and noted any changes they could see, hear, or smell as evidence that a chemical reaction had taken place. It was a great opportunity for them to apply their understanding of science in a hands on and memorable way!

We are just one month away from our Liberty Trick or Treat Community Night on October 17th!
As we prepare for this fun event, we are asking for candy donations. The next time you're buying a bag of candy, consider picking up an extra one to donate. We are collecting individually wrapped candies to hand out at the event.
Donations can be dropped off at the Liberty front office.

We are halfway through September, which is Attendance Awareness Month, and we are excited to see that our attendance percentages are up compared to last year. Thank you for making attendance a priority and for helping your students arrive on time and ready to learn each day.
Let’s keep the momentum going!

Join us Wednesday, September 17 as we take on Pioneer in our last home flag football game of the season.
We are also celebrating our amazing 8th graders from the flag football team and cheer squad!
Come cheer them on as they take the field one last time at home. Let’s pack the sidelines, show our school spirit, and send off our 8th graders with the pride and energy they deserve!

In honor of Patriot Day, our staff and students showed overwhelming support by wearing red, white, and blue. It was incredible to see such large participation yesterday as we came together to remember the heroes and lives lost on 9/11.

Today is Patriot Day, and in our history classes, students spent time learning about the events of September 11, 2001. For many of us, it’s a moment in history we remember vividly. Where we were, what we were doing, and how we felt as the news unfolded.
After class, it was meaningful to see students continuing the conversation with one another and even engaging staff members with thoughtful questions and reflections.
We encourage you to take a moment today to share your own memories or experiences with your student. Whether it’s where you were when you heard the news or how the day impacted you, these personal stories help connect generations and deepen understanding of the significance of 9/11

In honor of 9/11, Mr. Bentley played Taps this morning during the moment of silence. It was a solemn and powerful tribute to remember and reflect on the lives lost and the heroes of that day.

In honor of Patriot Day, our students are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue tomorrow, Thursday, September 11th
7th Grade – Wear Red
8th Grade – Wear Blue
Staff – Wear White
Or feel free to wear any combination of the three colors.

These outstanding students were entered into a special drawing and won gift cards, candy, and other fun prizes for achieving perfect attendance during our recent Attendance Challenge! Over 400+ students qualified to win.
We are so proud of their dedication and commitment to showing up every day, ready to learn. Attendance is key to academic success, and building strong routines at home helps set our students up for a bright future.
Let’s keep up the momentum for the rest of the school year. Every day counts!

Liberty parent night is tomorrow, Wednesday, September 10th, at 6pm.
Please note the location of the meeting has moved to the Liberty Gym.

Our Liberty staff and students looked great today in their jerseys. We saw a lot of 49ers and Raiders gear, just like our staff’s favorites.
Fingers crossed that all our students qualified for the attendance challenge; those who did will be entered into drawings for prizes next week. Have a great weekend, Patriots!

What Jersey are you wearing today? Looks like our Liberty staff are fans of the 49ers and Raiders. Can't wait to see what the students are wearing for jersey day!

Liberty Parent Night is coming up next week on Wednesday, Sept. 10, starting at 6pm in the Liberty Cafeteria
Join us to learn about the importance of attendance, graduation requirements, White Robe information, and Title 1 supports on campus. We hope you can join us.
