Just a reminder our Liberty Winter Concert featuring our Jazz Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Choir, and Ukulele, will be tonight in the Liberty Gym, starting at 6pm. We hope to see you there.

Our Liberty girls soccer team finished their season in outstanding fashion. They went undefeated and closed it out with a hard fought win over El Monte at home and took the SAL tournament title. Their determination, teamwork, and heart were on full display all season long. Thank you to the friends and family who supported our team all season. We are incredibly proud of our athletes, Coach Martinez, and the dedication they put into every practice and game. What an excellent accomplishment! Congratulations to our Patriots! Amazing end to an amazing season.

Thank you to all the parents and guardians who were able to join us this morning for Student of the Month. These incredible students were selected by their advisory teachers for consistently demonstrating respect in their words, actions, and interactions with others. They set a powerful example for their peers and we are so proud of them. Congratulations.

What a great turnout at basketball tryouts yesterday. We had over 90 students come out to compete for spots on our 7th and 8th grade teams. Tryouts continue today. Good luck to all of our students.

Our Liberty Girls Soccer team has advanced to the championship game, and we could not be more proud of their dedication and teamwork. Liberty is honored to host the championship game this Wednesday, December 10, with a start time of 3:30 p.m. We hope you will join us on the sidelines to support our players as they compete for the title.

Just a reminder our Liberty Marching Band and Colorguard will be performing tomorrow at the Lemoore Christmas Parade. We hope to see you there.

Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer on our wrestling team yesterday. Our students had an incredible learning experience, and it was truly inspiring to see so many different students stepping up, getting involved, and finding their place in school sports. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back tomorrow for our next home match and continue celebrating our student athletes.

We'd like to thank Lemoore High School for hosting such an incredible CTE (Career Technical Education) Day, yesterday. Our students walked away with so much new knowledge about the amazing programs LHS has to offer. Their excitement was contagious as they imagined all the possibilities awaiting them in the future. We are so grateful for this inspiring and knowledgeable experience.

Our students enjoyed a special Thanksgiving lunch with their Shelly Baird buddies on Friday before break. Moments like these remind us how meaningful it is to slow down, connect, and appreciate the people around us. The spirit of thankfulness and inclusion doesn’t cost a thing, yet it creates some of the most powerful blessings in our school community.

Our students wore their fall colors on Friday and enjoyed a wonderful day before Thanksgiving break. They were also treated to a special snack reward as the day came to a close. We are so thankful for our students and staff. Wishing all our Liberty families a warm and happy Thanksgiving.

Liberty was able to donate over 1,000 items on 11/19 to Lemoore Christian Aid. Our students, families, and staff truly outdid themselves; doubling that amount in the final two days of the food drive and bringing in an additional 1,000 items. We are so proud of their generosity, compassion, and commitment to supporting our community. As a reward for their hard work, students earned a fun “Pie in the Face” celebration. A huge thank you to Mrs. Dow, Ms. Hall, Mr. Rodriguez, Mr. Senior, and Mr. Gormley for being such great sports and making the moment unforgettable. Here are the final standings for the Advisory classes that donated the most items: 3rd Place – Miss Hall 2nd Place – Mr. Jessup 1st Place – SDC and Shelly Baird Congratulations to Ms. Herleman’s, Ms. Pasillas’s, and Mr. Shanthraj’s classes for their outstanding participation and support! Your class will have an ice cream party when we return from Thanksgiving Break.

Today, our 8th grade classes participated in a hands on science lab exploring waves. Students rotated through stations to observe refraction, reflection, magnification, and absorption. They have been learning about these concepts in class. They saw how these wave behaviors can make images appear distorted, reversed, broken, bent, or even disappear. It was an amazing opportunity for students to see their learning come to life and to understand how factors like water, density, and shape can change the way we view the world around us.
