Our 8th grade students will be taking the Lemoore High School ELA placement test tomorrow, January 13th, in student's regularly scheduled ELA class. Please make sure your student has a charged chromebook for testing.

Congratulations to our Liberty Spelling Bee Representatives! Happy Holidays from all of us at Liberty Middle School. We hope your Winter Break is filled with rest, laughter, and meaningful time with family and friends, as well as a joyful celebration of the New Year. We can’t wait to welcome back our amazing Patriots on Monday, January 12.

Thank you to ASB for decorating and coordinating our Winter Rally to kick off winter break for our students. Our Jazz Band delivered a great performance, and the dodgeball game between our 7th and 8th grade teachers was especially entertaining. Stacking boxes proved to be quite the challenge, and students enjoyed holiday trivia/games, scooter races, and pin the nose on the reindeer.

What a great way to end the week before winter break. Our students showed their holiday spirit by wearing festive outfits and enjoying a wonderful day filled with holiday music and lunch outside. We were even lucky enough to have the sun come out to make the day extra special. We hope everyone had a great time and wish our students and families a joyful start to winter break.

Today was a great Pajama Day at school. It was wonderful to see so many students participate and bring such positive energy to campus. Pajama Day is always a favorite and truly enjoyed by all. Tomorrow is an early release day as we head into winter break. Students are encouraged to wear their holiday gear as we wrap up the year with a schoolwide spirit rally.

Over 300 students applied to be part of the TKMEA Honor Band this year, and we are proud to announce that six Liberty students were selected to participate. These students will perform with the Honor Band on February 28th at Redwood High School. This is a tremendous achievement, and we are incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication. Congratulations to Sophie Salinas, Antonio Menjivar, Joelle Geldore, Sophia Calderon Yanez, Nickolaz Vazquez, and Theodore Hubilia.

Lost and found items are available this week for recovery. All items that are unclaimed will be donated during Winter Break.

What a great Ugly Sweater Day at Liberty today. It was wonderful to see the many different interests and personalities of our students on display, all while celebrating the holiday spirit together. Tomorrow, Thursday, December 18, will be PJ Day. Just a reminder dress code still applies; no leggings, slippers, or blankets.

Today was red, green, and white day at Liberty. The students looked great in their Holiday Colors. Tomorrow, December 17th is Ugly Sweater Day. So put on your Holiday sweater and get into the Holiday Season.

Today was Santa's Workshop dress up day. Our students looked great in their elf, Santa, and reindeer gear. Tomorrow, Tuesday, December 16th, is Holiday Colors Day. Students are encouraged to wear Red, Green, and White.

Tomorrow our 8th grade students will be taking their Math Placement test in their regularly scheduled math classes. Please make sure your student has a charged chromebook for testing.

Our Liberty Band Picture Day will be taking place on Tuesday, December 16. More information will be sent to parents/guardians via parentsquare

Thank you to all the families, friends, staff, and community members who joined us for our Winter Concert. Your support helped make the evening truly special. Our students delivered wonderful performances across every ensemble, including Jazz Band, Concert/Beginning Band, Ukulele, Choir, and Symphonic Band. The students looked fantastic in their holiday attire and band shirts, bringing both spirit and professionalism to the stage. We are incredibly proud of the hard work they have put in over the past months, and their dedication truly shone throughout the night. A heartfelt thank you to our outstanding Music Department teachers: Mr. Alanzalon, Mr. Bentley, Mr. Cota, Mr. Huebschle, Mr. Mo, and Mr. Zellous. Their guidance, passion, and commitment to our students are the heart of our program, and we are grateful for the inspiration they bring to our campus every day.
