As we go into the cooler months,it is important to get your child to school today and every day, since even a few absences can add up to academic problems.

Just a friendly reminder... Please see that your data confirmation on parent portal, is all up to date. Failure to complete the process will prevent student health records, addresses and emergency contacts from being updated which will be necessary in case of an emergency. This can also affect student participation in field trips if we don't have the student's updated information.
Only two more weeks, to purchase your Yearbook at the lowest price of the school year. $30. After Sept 20th the price will increase to $35.
Just a reminder that Chromebooks were distributed today for 8th graders. 8th grade students that forgot their paperwork may come in during break and lunch to get their devices.
7th Grade distribution will start tomorrow during scheduled ELA classes.
Optional Chromebook insurance is available for $35 until October 4th.

This Friday, August 30th, is our first dress up day of the year. Come dressed in your Disney gear, and you won't have to wear a collar for the day. All other dress code still applies.

We also have our first AWAY Volleyball and Flag Football games on Tuesday at Caruthers and our first HOME games on Wednesday. All games start at 3:30pm.
Color Guard tryouts, Tuesday to Wednesday, after school from 3:30pm until approximately 5pm. Signed permission slips are required in order to try out. Good luck!
Students will be dressing out for PE starting on Tuesday, August 27th. PE clothes are still available for purchase for $18 a set in the front office or student services.

Liberty Color Guard Tryouts
Tryouts will begin in two weeks on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 27 and 28. Learn to Dance, Spin Rifle, and Twirl flags and participate in all the marching band performances and parades.
This is open to girls and boys and no experience is required. Please pick up a permission slip in Student Services and sign up on the band room door.
