
Good morning! Next week is Red Ribbon Week. (October 25 - October 28) The theme is “Drug Free Looks Like Me!” We will be discussing the importance of being drug free throughout the week. We will also be having different activities and will be dressing up for theme days each day!
Monday: Drug Free Looks Like Me! (Wear Red)
Tuesday: Talk the Talk and Walk the Walk. (Wear sports clothing and/or jerseys)
Wednesday: Put a Lid on Drugs! (Wear any type of head gear!)
Thursday: Team Up Against Drugs! (Twin day!)
Friday: NO SCHOOL

MONDAY, October 18, is TIE-DYE day for our terrific Roadrunners! Student council voted on their first student-elected dress up day! Great job, Roadrunners!


Engvall kindergartners are learning about bats. They have written paragraphs about what they learned. AWESOME students! AWESOME writing!

October 4th through October 15th, 3rd - 6th grade students will participate in IAB testing. Each student will take an IAB test in English Language Arts and Mathematics. This test helps Engvall teachers and administration know which standards students have mastered and which standards we need to continue to focus our attention. Please ensure your child is at school daily and on time. We sincerely appreciate your help. Thank you


Wednesday, October 6th, is Spirit Wear WEDNESDAY. Each grade level will wear a color designated below. The class with the highest participation rate in each grade level will have a popsicle party.
Kindergarten - Red day
1st Grade - Blue day
2nd Grade - Orange Day
3rd Grade - Purple Day
4th Grade - Yellow Day
5th Grade - Green Day
6th Grade - Black Day
If a student wears the their grade level color, a collar is not necessary.


This week we have Parent Teacher Conferences. Monday through Friday dismissal time is at 1:25 for all students.

Friday, September 24th, is SPIRIT Day at Engvall. Students are encouraged to wear any GREEN or YELLOW shirt to school. If the shirt is green or yellow collars are NOT required.


National "Care about Kids" day was today. To celebrate our students we all wore blue. It was a great day!



Friday was Spirit Day at Engvall. So many of our Roadrunners dressed in yellow and green.





Monday, September 20th is national "Care For Kids" day. Students and staff are encouraged to wear BLUE shirts, pants, or socks to school. If the shirt is blue collars are not required.


Friday, September 17 is SPIRIT Day at Engvall. Students are encouraged to wear any GREEN or YELLOW shirt to school. If the shirt is green or yellow collars are NOT required.


Friday, September 10th is Patriotic Day. All students can wear RED, WHITE, and BLUE for Patriotic Day. Collars are not required if red, white or blue is worn.
