Read Across America Week was fantastic! Friday was our Community Member Day. We had over 30 community member come to Engvall to read to our students. Our students loved it! Thank you to everyone who participated in this event. We truly appreciate your time and dedication.

To celebrate Read Across America this week Thursday was "Parents Day" We had many parents volunteer to read to their child's class at Engvall. Thank you to all the parents who came to Engvall Tuesday and Thursday to read.

Monday, March 9th is a regular day schedule. Dismissal time for K - 3rd is 2:36pm and for 4th - 6th grade is 2:46pm.
Tuesday, March 10th and Wednesday, March 11th are early out days. Both days dismissal time is 1:25pm.

Today we had guest readers in a few classrooms celebrating Read Across America Week.




Congratulations to Engvall kindergarten student, Beau Chambers, for winning 1st place at the Kings County Art Center. He painted a self portrait. Great Job!

Read Across America Week is March 2 - March 6. This week is in celebration of Dr. Seuss's birthday which is March 2nd. We have planned dress up days students can participate in and we will have guest readers every day.
Monday students can dress like a Dr. Seuess character.
